«Each Armenian citizen carries at least $3000 of debt». Hakhikyan
Journalist Nairi Hakhikyan’s statement reads: “In 2018, Armenia's public debt was $6.7 billion. It was bad, terribly bad; we got rid of the previous administrations to live better and not have debt. As of August 2021, Armenia's public debt has increased to $9 billion, as reported by Gagik Levonyan Hambaryan.
The government led by Nikol Pashinyan has increased our state debt by $2.3 billion. Each Armenian citizen carries at least $3000 of debt.”
