Tensions Rise Again in National Assembly as Security Staff Enter Chamber

Recently, in the National Assembly, Anna Mkrtchyan, an MP from the 'Honorary Have' faction, reminded Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan that he once stated he had details about Azerbaijan's leadership and political life that could potentially destabilize Azerbaijan's domestic situation if disclosed. She also noted that Pashinyan had brought security personnel into the parliament.

Interrupting her, MPs from the ruling faction began to shout from their seats, after which Alen Simonyan issued a reprimand to Hratchya Hakobyan, while Anna Mkrtchyan was removed from the chamber until the end of the session. Security staff were invited into the chamber to escort her out, leading to a 20-minute recess.
