Kopirkin Visits Outposts and Positions on the Armenian-Turkish Border
The Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin, is continuing to explore the country’s attractions during his vacation with his family. This information was reported by the Russian Embassy in Armenia.
On August 12, they visited the Armavir region, where they became acquainted with several landmarks, including the Church of St. Shushanik located in the village of Bagaran and the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, which was built in the sixth century.
During the visit, Kopirkin also toured the Russian border guard unit in Armavir and the outposts and positions located on the Armenian-Turkish border. He met with both Russian and Armenian border guards, learning about their challenges and how they conduct joint service to protect the nation’s borders.
