What Did Pashinyan and MPs of the Civil Contract Discuss in the National Assembly?
After the formation of the permanent committees of the National Assembly, a meeting took place in parliament between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and members of the Civil Contract faction. Factor.am learned that the meeting has just concluded.
During the meeting, Pashinyan and his colleagues discussed the government program. The Prime Minister listened to the comments and suggestions of the MPs. The government program is expected to be presented to the National Assembly by August 23, although the exact date is still unknown.
Nikol Pashinyan expressed his satisfaction with the activity demonstrated by the Civil Contract members during the first session. It should also be noted that during Pashinyan’s presence in the National Assembly, increased security measures were implemented around the parliament building. Since the start of the 8th convocation of the National Assembly, a significant police presence has been concentrated in the area surrounding the parliament building, including on Baghramyan Avenue and Demirchyan Street, as well as in the adjacent park.
