Alen Simonian Suggested Closing the Topic of the Recent Incident
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, is proposing to close the topic of the altercation that took place in the National Assembly hall on August 11 and to disregard everything that occurred throughout the day.
Simonian made this suggestion during his speech from the podium of the National Assembly. "I propose that we disregard everything that happened today. Out of respect for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, let us consider that we have exhausted their patience today and end this rhetoric once and for all. Consider this my hand reaching out to you; let nothing inhibit your activities, whether initiated or to be initiated. Listening to the last two or three speeches, we believe that we can and must work together," Simonian emphasized.
