Man Kills His Guest and Attempts to Incinerate the Body in a Boiler Room
The Investigative Committee of Armenia has revealed all circumstances surrounding the murder of a 59-year-old man as a result of extensive investigative and procedural actions carried out by the Regional Investigative Department of Armavir.
According to the evidence obtained during the investigation, a 44-year-old resident of Shirak Province, on December 17, 2020, in his rented house on Mashtots Street in Armavir, intentionally inflicted fatal injuries to his guest's head and facial areas, causing injuries incompatible with life.
Subsequently, the 44-year-old man transported the body to a boiler room located near his house, where he attempted to eliminate traces of the body through incineration.
Based on the gathered sufficient evidence, the 44-year-old resident of Shirak Province has been charged under Article 104, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. He has been detained as a precautionary measure.
The preliminary investigation has been completed, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an accusatory conclusion.
