At Least 16 Dead Due to Lightning Strike at Wedding in Bangladesh
At least 16 people have died from a lightning strike during a wedding ceremony in Bangladesh. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing local sources.
The incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the northern region of Shibganj, where wedding guests were enjoying a boat ride on the Padma River.
According to local police, at least six individuals were injured and have been hospitalized in local medical facilities. Authorities do not rule out the possibility that the death toll could rise.
