Hakob Arshakyan Elected as Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly
Hakob Arshakyan has been elected as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly. The head of the National Assembly's auditing committee, Narek Babayan, stated that out of 107 lawmakers, 71 participated in the voting. Hakob Arshakyan received support from 71 lawmakers. The opposition factions did not participate in the vote.
It is noteworthy that the opposition proposed Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction, for the position of Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
