We Have No Enemies in Armenia: Simonian Promises to Overcome Disagreements
The candidate from the "Civil Contract" faction for the position of Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, assures that his status as a founding member of the Civil Contract party will not hinder his ability to organize parliamentary work and cooperate with opposition factions in the event he is elected as Speaker, even in the presence of radical differences. The understanding of the collective interests of the Armenian people takes precedence, Simonian stated during his speech from the parliamentary podium.
"The high quality of conducting the elections was confirmed by all international observation organizations, and later the Constitutional Court validated the results. I would like to congratulate the Civil Contract party, the 'Armenia' bloc, which, unfortunately, is absent, and the 'Honorary Title' bloc on their entry into parliament," Simonian said.
