Swimmer Artur Barsikhyan Fails to Qualify at the Olympic Games
Armenian swimmer Artur Barsikhyan began his journey at the Tokyo Olympic Games. In the qualification round of the men's 100 meters freestyle at the 32nd Summer Olympic Games taking place in Tokyo, Japan, Barsikhyan achieved a time of 49.78, improving his personal record. However, he did not advance to the semifinals, as only the top 16 times qualify.
Barsikhyan will have another opportunity to compete on July 30 in the 50 meters freestyle event. The race is set to begin at 14:00 Yerevan time.
