Azerbaijani Media Actively Spreading False Information About Armenian Clergy Leaving Dadivank: Hohikyan
Azerbaijani media is actively spreading false information claiming that Armenian clergy have permanently left Dadivank and that Udi Christians will soon take their place, media expert Nayri Hohikyan wrote on his Facebook page.
“In reality, this is yet another lie from the enemy. All my reliable and firsthand sources inform me that our brother clergy continue to perform religious services in Dadivank. Meanwhile, the Azerbaijani side has long been prohibiting Armenian pilgrims from visiting Dadivank and is also not allowing a shift change for Armenian clergy. The Azerbaijani military is also applying various forms of pressure on the Russian peacekeepers who are overseeing Dadivank. These are reports that I will elaborate on in the coming days,” Hohikyan added.
