Arshak Karapetyan Appointed First Deputy Minister of Defense
Arshak Karapetyan has been appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Defense by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's decision.
"Guided by part 1 of Article 9 of the Republic of Armenia Law on Public Service, Arshak Karapetyan is appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Defense," the government's decision states.
This appointment comes shortly after Karapetyan was relieved from the position of First Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces by a decree from the President of the Republic.
