‘Statements by the President of Azerbaijan Should Be Taken as Facts’: Tigran Abrahamyan

Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the ‘I Have Honor’ alliance, wrote on his Facebook page: ‘The statements made by the President of Azerbaijan regarding claims over Syunik, Lake Sevan, or Yerevan should be regarded as facts, as issues on Azerbaijan’s agenda. It is another matter that the authorities of Armenia have neither the will nor the desire to counter this agenda. Is there anyone who doubts that the President of Azerbaijan is not sincere in his statements or that he is merely voicing such texts for propaganda purposes? I am confident that Azerbaijan and Turkey have one goal: to achieve the complete occupation of Armenia using a variety of military, political, and economic tools. Where they start from and the timelines for implementation are merely technical issues. The government, through its internal and external policies, is only accelerating these processes, shattering any resistance that may hinder these scripted developments.’
