Goris Mayor Exits from the Special Investigation Service
The Mayor of Goris, Arush Arushanyan, has exited the Special Investigation Service (SIS). This was reported by lawyer Robert Hayrapetyan in a conversation with Tert.am. "There are currently reports that he was summoned as a witness in some criminal case, but Arushanyan refused to give testimony," said Robert Hayrapetyan.
It is noteworthy that Arushanyan's defense attorney, Erik Aleksanyan, had earlier informed that Goris Mayor Arush Arushanyan was arrested today. Earlier today, while discussing the selection of a preventive measure for Lusine Avetyan, the administrative head of Karahunj in Goris, Arush Arushanyan mentioned in a conversation with journalists outside the courthouse that residents of Vorotan village have been taken to the police station to extract testimony against him.
