We Should Not Talk About War: Peskov
Due to the preservation of nuclear parity, a world war is currently impossible. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.
He reminded that this topic was raised by President Vladimir Putin during a direct line. The head of state called the incident involving the British destroyer Defender off the coast of Crimea a provocation, but emphasized that it would not lead to a third world war.
“Is war possible? Putin has made it clear that this is unlikely. And here we are secured by nuclear parity,” said the Kremlin spokesman.
