Children Transferred to Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital Are Feeling Well
Children and adults transferred to the Gyumri Infectious Disease Hospital after a suspected food poisoning incident during an excursion in the Shirak region are feeling well. This was reported to Armenpress by the hospital director Astghik Beybutyan, who noted that some of the hospitalized individuals would be discharged on June 26, while others would be released on June 27. No complications have arisen during the treatment.
The children from Ayrium, who were on the excursion, consumed kebabs prepared in a home environment on June 25 in an area known as "Jardi Dzor," which had been stored under non-refrigerated conditions. Their condition worsened later, when the children were already in Gyumri. A total of 23 people were hospitalized, including 16 children and 7 adults.
