Tbilisi Ready to Work within Georgia-Azerbaijan-Armenia Format, Says Zalkaliani
Tbilisi is ready to cooperate within the Georgia-Azerbaijan-Armenia trilateral format for the implementation of geopolitically significant projects. This was stated by Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.
Speaking at a diplomatic conference held in Turkey, Zalkaliani emphasized that Azerbaijan and Turkey are strategic partners of Georgia. He also highlighted the historical and friendly ties with Armenia.
“There are many opportunities before us today. Oil and gas pipelines pass through our territory,” Zalkaliani reminded. He stressed the importance of implementing projects that will promote economic cooperation and transport connections, in terms of utilizing the potential of the Caspian and Black Seas.
