The Force That Distributes Bribes is Ilham Aliyev's Force, and the Ones Who Take Bribes Are the Same: Marukyan

The candidate for Prime Minister from the Bright Armenia party, Edmon Marukyan, voted at polling station number 1/20 in Yerevan. In a conversation with journalists, he mentioned that he voted for the sake of harmony.

“I have great hope that harmony and the restoration of peace will be without alternatives. Our challenges are much greater than we can imagine,” said the prime ministerial candidate.

Evaluating the election campaign, Marukyan noted that the rhetoric was very poor, and the promotion of both hatred and violence was high. “But the expectations that something good would happen were not met. Today's expectations will not be justified either; the whole day will pass very calmly,” he added.

He also pointed out that there will be no force that can claim to have won alone. According to Marukyan, they will come to the idea that everyone must sit around one table and form a government of national consensus.

Speaking about vote buying, the head of the LHK emphasized: “The force that distributes bribes is Ilham Aliyev's force, and the ones who take bribes are the same. This means disrespecting the memory of heroes.”
