Let's Not Engage in Steps That Can Lead to Irreversible Losses: Statement from the Union of Volunteers

The Union of Volunteer Defenders held a board meeting yesterday, chaired by the head of the board, Sasun Mikayelyan. Following the meeting, a statement was released, which reads:

“Recognizing the seriousness of the moment, in the run-up to the national elections, we find it necessary to emphasize once again: the Volunteer Defenders have a mission to protect our state and sovereignty. For this, we need internal political stability.

We all fully understand that internal instability can lead to unpredictable developments. During both wartime and post-war periods, we, the volunteer defenders, remain within the borders of our country to ensure the security of our borders alongside the army.

Dear compatriots, the security of our borders depends on the internal political stability of the country. Let’s not engage in steps that can lead to irreversible losses.”
