In the village of Kaghsi in the Kotayk region, villagers set a table outside, made a feast, and welcomed Narek Sirunyan, who returned from Azerbaijani captivity with applause.

With an emotional voice, Narek said, “They said, ‘What kind of Armenian are you? You are wounded in five places; I haven't died! I am Armenian; I have Armenian blood in me! We are an indomitable nation; as many losses as we have suffered, may God enlighten the souls of all!”

The gathered people raised their glasses, and one of the attendees said, “May this feast be accepted! Your eyes are a light; the house is filled with light. Dear Narek, all the lands you mentioned, we will take them back,” said one of the villagers.
