Discussion on Possible Deployment Points for Russian Partners in the Sotk-Khoznavar Section: Pashinyan

Our greatest concern is the Sotk-Khoznavar section. We will do everything until the last moment to resolve this issue through peaceful negotiations. This was stated by Prime Ministerial candidate Nikol Pashinyan during a campaign rally in Vardenis.

“Today we are in daily contact with our Russian partners. Their representatives have come and surveyed the areas from Sotk to Khoznavar, looking at the possible points where they can be deployed, and now discussions are taking place to clarify their possible deployment points,” he said, noting that they have made progress in preventing the situation from continually escalating.

Pashinyan reminded that a soldier had wandered off and crossed into Azerbaijani territory, but was returned two days later, which he deemed a commendable and important step.
