Anti-Armenian Propaganda Museum to Be Established in Erzurum
The policy of denying the Armenian Genocide has gained new momentum in Turkey. The authorities are utilizing various tools to circulate and reinforce anti-Armenian narratives, one of which is highlighted by the news source 'Ermenihaber'. A museum depicting the 'violations committed by Armenians' is set to be built in Erzurum (historically known as Karin), with a citizen donating $5 million for this purpose. Erzurum's Mayor Mehmet Sekman has stated that their objective is to inform the world about the 'atrocities' that occurred prior to 1918. The new institution is expected to feature two sections: a museum and a library.
