LKTIs Falsehood: Gnel Sanosyan's Statement

The Governor of Gegharkunik, Gnel Sanosyan, has demanded a retraction of certain claims. He stated, "There have been completely fabricated, invented, and completely irrelevant reports circulated by the ‘Armenian Time’ media outlet and several Facebook users, alleging that 16 Azerbaijanis were reportedly captured by the Armenian armed forces days ago and that our soldiers released them at my request. The news being spread is not only untrue but is also an LKT lie aimed at tarnishing my reputation and that of our armed forces, as well as cultivating negative public opinion towards government officials and military personnel.

Such a thing is not only impossible but also entirely outside the Governor's purview in such situations and decisions. I demand the immediate removal of such absurd materials and a public retraction; otherwise, I will be forced to resolve this issue through legal means."
