Gabrielyanov: "The Turks Understand They Have Little Time and Act According to the Principle 'Strike While the Iron is Hot' While Pashinyan is in Power"
Aram Gabrielyanov, a media magnate and publisher based in Russia, has made a post on his Telegram channel regarding the events unfolding in Armenia and at the country's borders. Below is his statement.
“Many people are asking me: what is happening in Armenia now? Why is there such chaos?
First, there are three players in the political arena: the dominant player is Russia. The second player is Turkey-Azerbaijan. The third is Armenia. The Turks understand that they have little time and are acting according to the principle 'strike while the iron is hot' while Pashinyan is in power.
President Aliyev remembers the time of Elchibey very well. And he understands that Kocharian will quickly bring order to Armenia, the government, and the army. Just as Ilham's father established order upon his return to power.
Aliyev understands Kocharian’s strength. It has been in his mind since his young age. Russia, as always, will pull until the last moment, especially since there are many pro-Azerbaijani forces within the Kremlin that do not want Kocharian's return.
In the Kremlin, Kocharian has one friend and ally, which is the Kremlin itself—Putin. Aliyev knows that according to his principles, Putin never abandons his friends; thus, Ilham is in a rush.
What will happen next? Pashinyan couldn’t care less about Armenia and its people; he fears the revelations that will follow immediately after he loses power. Therefore, Nikol will go to great lengths, surrendering territories, and much more. One should not listen to his empty talk; he lies as easily as he breathes.
Armenia has one opportunity to resist, to oppose, to pressure the authorities and Pashinyan so that he does not dare to give anything away or sign anything. And it should explain to the foolishly stubborn Armenians that the fate of the nation will be decided on June 20. Nation or death!”
