Dispute Near Black Lake Resolved Through Efforts of Higher Command, Ministry of Defense

Following the provocations by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on May 12 and 13, the situation as of noon on May 21 has not undergone significant changes.

In the evening of May 20, a dispute occurred near Black Lake, triggered by the circulation of videos on Armenian and Azerbaijani social networks and media showing the participation of Armenian and Azerbaijani military personnel. The dispute was resolved through the efforts of higher command.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia urges everyone to refrain from disseminating such videos, as they do not contribute to the peaceful resolution of the issue and only serve to unnecessarily escalate tensions.

Overall, the situation remains stable. Armenian Armed Forces units maintain full control over the situation, continuing to restrict the movements of Azerbaijani military personnel.
