Why EU Member State Ambassadors Have Visited Syunik
More than ten ambassadors from the EU visited the Syunik region today, with plans to also visit the area around Lake Sevan. This is reported by Hraparak.am.
“Our source informed us that they are currently in Goris. They have met with the Governor of Syunik, Melikset Poghosyan, Deputy Governor of the ruling party, Narek Babayan, and My Step faction MP, Armen Khachatryan. Several military officials also participated in the meeting.
It is noteworthy that since May 12, the situation around Lake Sevan has remained unchanged: Azerbaijani military groups have invaded 3.5 kilometers of the lake area and have no intention of withdrawing,” the media reports.
