Red Line Has Long Been Crossed, Let’s Not Allow the Signing of This Dangerous Document – Sophia Hovsepyan

How do you feel after yesterday's video, did it, in any way, touch your dignity, or not? This was said by National Assembly Deputy Sophia Hovsepyan during her speech in the National Assembly, referring to the video involving Armenian and Azerbaijani soldiers.

“Did you understand in any way what happened? I know how you feel, but for many of you, it means nothing; I am sure it has no value that your soldier was humiliated,” she stated.

She confirmed that the Minister of Defense was not informed about this matter and learned from the citizens that their soldier was treated in such a way. “Why are the Minister of Defense, the Chief of General Staff, and the Secretary of the Security Council still in their positions?” she asked.

According to Sophia Hovsepyan, this document was given from within to raise a noise. “I was waiting for this game to be played. The humiliation of a soldier is a humiliation for each of us, for the Armenian people; express your attitude in any way possible. I call upon the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, the red line has long been crossed, let’s not allow the signing of this dangerous document; I demand that the army be properly armed, to stand by the soldier,” she concluded.
