«HЕK-eri Arayik» has become «Arayik Lusavorich»: «Hraparak»
Recent reports on social media indicate that Azerbaijani armed forces have advanced their positions in Artsakh, attempting to gain ground in several directions simultaneously, although their progress has been limited to a few hundred meters in the Karvachar area. While law enforcement in Artsakh denies these claims, asserting their position against their Armenian counterparts, opposition representatives confirm the news.
The head of the Artsakh Justice faction, David Galstyan, stated, “I have also heard that in the Karvachar and Jermuk areas, Azerbaijanis have made positional improvements recently under the guise of ‘border adjustment’ and establishing new checkpoints.” According to reports, Russian peacekeepers have managed to prevent further advances in other directions.
While Azerbaijan is encroaching on our territory, the President of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, is preoccupied with consolidating his own positions, reminiscent of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Intensive road paving work is underway in Artsakh, with street lighting being installed, including along the Stepanakert-Askeran road. Locals joke that after the war, the ‘HЕK-eri Arayik’ has transformed into ‘Arayik Lusavorich’,” writes the newspaper.
