Azerbaijan Engages in Lobbying Against Armenian Prisoners of War in European Parliament, Says Deputy Editor of Le Figaro
Azerbaijan is conducting lobbying efforts against the discussion of Armenian prisoners of war in the European Parliament scheduled for May 20. This was reported by Jean-Christophe Buisson, the deputy editor of the prestigious French magazine Le Figaro, on his Twitter account.
“Azerbaijan is sending worrying letters to members of the European Parliament. Claims of respect for humanitarian law during the Artsakh war? FALSE. Claims of preserving religious monuments? FALSE,” Buisson stated, presenting excerpts from Azerbaijani lobbying letters.
