Significant Decrease in Azerbaijani Forces Noted in Positions Today: Aram Melkonyan

Today, a significant decrease in Azerbaijani forces has been observed in the positions. This was stated by the Mayor of Vardenis, Aram Melkonyan, in an interview with ArmDaily.am.

"This is a matter of significant politics, and a community leader is unlikely to be able to answer what might have caused it. Of course, we all understand that the creation of this situation was not a coincidence. This is significant politics," he noted.

In response to a query regarding reports circulating yesterday about Azerbaijani advancement, he stated that he is only responsible for the territory of his administrative area and can confirm that there have been no changes in the positions of the enlarged Vardenis community for the past three days.

"At this moment, the border is very calm, and there is no aggression from the Azerbaijani side; we have expectations from our diplomats today and tomorrow," he remarked.
