Sergey Shoigu and Vagharshak Harutyunyan Held Talks Today

The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General Sergey Shoigu, had a telephone conversation on Monday with his Armenian counterpart Vagharshak Harutyunyan, discussing bilateral relations and the situation prevailing in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“On May 17, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu held telephone talks with the acting Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan. During the conversation, issues related to bilateral cooperation and the prevailing situation in the regions concerning the peacekeeping missions of the Russian armed forces were discussed,” the Russian Ministry of Defense stated.
