State of Emergency in Armavir Region: Strong Winds Tear Off Roofs and Damage Greenhouses

On May 9, an emergency situation occurred in the Armavir region. This was reported by SHAMSHYAN.com. From 18:00 to 18:30, villagers in the Eraskhahun community suffered significant material and property damage due to strong winds.

In a conversation with photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the villagers stated, “The wind was so strong that words cannot describe it. It did its dirty work. The recently repaired tin roof of Alik Gevorgyan's auto repair shop seemed like it was pulled off and tossed by several people. Karen Tumanyan's greenhouses were completely destroyed. Many other villagers also sustained severe losses.”
