The Issue of Return of Armenian Prisoners of War from Azerbaijan Remains on Russia's Agenda, Says Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin
The issue of the return of Armenian prisoners of war from Azerbaijan continues to remain on Russia's agenda, said Sergey Kopirkin, the Russian ambassador to Armenia, during a conversation with journalists today.
The ambassador emphasized that during the recent visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Yerevan, this issue, among others, was discussed. “The entire agenda of bilateral relations was addressed, including the situation in the region and Nagorno-Karabakh. It was a very good, effective, and constructive visit, fully in line with the level of our relations and political dialogue,” noted Kopirkin.
