“We Have Made Efforts Until Today to Prevent Such a Political Process from Starting in Armenia”: Armen Ashotyan
“We are fully aware that the actions of these treacherous capitulatory authorities will not contribute to turning the elections into a fair, legal process with maximally inclusive equal conditions. We have made efforts until today to prevent such a political process from starting in Armenia. Unfortunately, parliamentary elections are currently becoming inevitable,” said Armen Ashotyan, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, to reporters after a political council meeting.
Previously, he had presented the party's stance on participating in the parliamentary elections. Armen Ashotyan mentioned that the basis for this stance has been the “recent developments in the opposition field as well as the imperative to overthrow the capitulator as soon as possible.”
