French MP Introduces Resolution Demanding Release of Armenian Prisoners
François Pupponi, a member of the French Parliament from the Val-d'Oise department, has introduced a new resolution urging France to demand the return of servicemen and civilians captured as a result of military operations by Azerbaijan. He shared this information on his Facebook page along with the draft of the resolution.
“Many Armenian soldiers remain detained by Azerbaijani authorities and are awaiting repatriation following the conflict in Artsakh. This practice is in absolute contradiction to the Geneva Conventions and norms established by international law. France must call for their release, which is the essence of my resolution,” the MP stated.
Pupponi thanked the fellow parliamentarians who agreed to sign the resolution.
