EU Ambassador Summoned to Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Regarding Meeting Between Toivo Klaar and Davit Babayan
On April 16, the EU representative in Azerbaijan, Ambassador Kestutis Jankauskas, was summoned to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry. This was reported by minval.az.
According to a statement from the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, a protest was lodged against the meeting that took place on April 14 during the visit of the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, Davit Babayan.
It was noted that such actions by the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus undermine Azerbaijan's trust in him.
