Vladimir Zelensky Calls to Prevent the Repetition of World War II

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has stated that countries around the world must unite to prevent the events of World War II from recurring.

Speaking at the Babyn Yar memorial in Kyiv on the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners from Nazi Concentration Camps, the head of state reminded of Ukraine's losses during the war.

“Ukrainians and the entire civilized world must show special unity to ensure that a large-scale war is never allowed again and that the possibility of such horrors repeating is eliminated,” Zelensky declared.
