Nine Armenian Boxers to Return with Medals from Ukraine
Nine Armenian boxers have secured their spots in the semifinals at the 15th international boxing tournament named after Mykola Manger in Kherson, Ukraine, ensuring they will return home with medals.
In today's quarterfinals, the fighters who emerged victorious include Arthur Gazapyan and Arthur Bazeiyan in the 57 kg weight category, and Armen Mashakaryan, Gurgen Madoyan, and Arsen Poghosyan in the 69 kg category. Additionally, Hrayr Shahverdyan (63 kg), Arman Darchinyan (75 kg), and Gurgen Hovhannisyan (super heavyweight) had already secured their places in the semifinals.
Korun Soghomonyan (52 kg) will advance directly to the finals, as his upcoming opponent faced weight-related issues.
The semifinals will take place on April 5, and the finals will be held on April 6.
