Earthquake 4km Northeast of Shorja
On April 3, 2021, at 13:03 local time (09:03 GMT), a seismic event was recorded by the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' Seismic Protection Territorial Service. The earthquake was located at a latitude of 40.52° N and longitude of 45.32° E, 4 km northeast of the town of Shorja, at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 1.9.
The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral region was measured at 2-3 points. The earthquake was felt in the village of Shorja in the Gegharkunik province with a force of 2 points.
