Ara Saghatelyan is being persecuted for his political views. This was stated by Arthur Vanetsyan, leader of the "Homeland" party, during a conversation with reporters.
"Ara Saghatelyan is my friend. I am here to support my friend," he noted.
The National Security Service of Armenia has involved four detained individuals as defendants in the case regarding a fake Facebook page known as Gagik Soghomonyan and has petitioned the court to arrest them. Among those mentioned is Ara Saghatelyan, the former head and chief secretary of the National Assembly’s staff.
