Ara Aivazyan and Sergey Lavrov to Discuss Secure Repatriation of Armenian Prisoners
The delegation led by the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ara Aivazyan, is already in Moscow, meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This was reported to Armenpress by the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan.
In response to a question about the agenda of discussions between the heads of the foreign ministries of the two countries, Naghdalyan stated, "The discussions between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia, Ara Aivazyan and Sergey Lavrov, will focus on the implementation of the trilateral statement of November 9 and the subsequent statement of January 11. Among other issues, they will address the secure repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war and civilians held by Azerbaijan." Ministers will also discuss the unblocking of all regional communications.
