Prime Minister Pashinyan Has Held a Phone Conversation with Vladimir Putin
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has had a phone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The parties discussed the implementation progress of the points from the joint statement dated November 9, 2020.
In particular, the importance of the prompt return of prisoners of war, hostages, and other detained individuals was highlighted. The Armenian side expressed concern that Azerbaijan is not fully complying with the requirements of the relevant clause of the joint statement.
Issues related to the bilateral cooperation agenda between Armenia and Russia, as well as ways to further develop allied cooperation, were also discussed.
