According to information circulating on the internet, a tobacco businessman named Hovhannes Hovsepyan has recently taken over the smuggling route for exporting and selling tobacco from Armenia to Russia in the city of Rostov-on-Don. It is noted that Hovsepyan has been appointed as the president of the Armenian Boxing Federation. Auroranews attempted to confirm this information with the Armenian Boxing Federation, but our calls went unanswered.

According to the same reports, Hovsepyan is not only selling tobacco in Rostov but also in Donetsk and Luhansk, where Russian state control and customs regulations are essentially non-functional.
