Another Earthquake Recorded Today, Felt in Shoghakat Community with Magnitude of 2-3
On February 6, at 11:49 AM local time (07:49 AM GMT), the seismic network of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations recorded an earthquake at geographical coordinates of 40.53° North latitude and 45.30° East longitude, 4 km northeast of the village of Shorja, Armenia, at a depth of 10 km, with a magnitude of 2.3. The intensity of the underground tremor in the epicentral area was reported to be between 2-3 points. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
The earthquake was felt in the Shoghakat community of Gegharkunik Province, with an intensity of 2-3 points.
