Frequent Earthquakes in Azerbaijan, Says Elibegova
Azerbaijan expert Angela Elibegova made a post on her Facebook page regarding the earthquake that occurred today. She noted, “By the way, earthquakes have become more frequent in Azerbaijan, especially in the Caspian Sea area, and this is linked to violations of safety standards during oil extraction. Typically, when extracting oil, gas is pushed back to avoid leaving an empty bag. But since that accompanying gas is also money, they extract and sell it.”
