David Galstyan, Patron David, Issues New Statement
Following the unjust initiation of criminal persecution against me and my subsequent illegal deprivation of liberty, various media platforms have started to circulate false and misleading information about me. In particular, unverified reports have emerged in several outlets claiming that I have served as an advisor to the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia. This was stated in a statement released by the legal team of David Galstyan, known as Patron David.
“I declare that I have never served as an advisor to any minister, nor have I held any official position, neither in the Ministry of Defense nor in any other state agency. The dissemination of this false information aims to create the impression that I allegedly had influence over the ministry’s personnel due to my position and that I utilized these authorities while committing the crimes attributed to me. Understanding which circles benefit from the spread of such false information and being confident that during the investigation of the criminal case, both this and other information published by the investigative bodies will be refuted, I urge those disseminating such news to refrain from such tactics; otherwise, I will be forced to take legally mandated measures. I believe that these individuals are likely aware that the dissemination of such false reports causes direct harm to the esteemed reputation of our armed forces,” the statement reads.
