Gunfire Targeting Armenian Cultural Center in Marseille Sparks Alarm
The attack on the Armenian cultural center in Marseille raises serious concerns. This was reported by the Armenian Embassy in France.
"We reaffirm that any act of hate based on national identity, as exemplified by recent Turkish-Azerbaijani attacks against Armenians and Armenian cultural heritage in France, must be condemned," stated the embassy.
It should be noted that gunfire was directed at the Armenian cultural center in Marseille. The gunfire shattered a window on the second floor, where a piano lesson was taking place. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
The "Saint Sahak Saint Mesrop" cultural center in Marseille is one of the most significant Armenian centers, with over 250 children learning in the hall each week.
