Number of Jobs in Armenia Decreased in April 2020 from 620,000 to 547,000 - SRS
In 2020, over 90% of state revenues were paid by various organizations through VAT payments, amounting to around 6,000 organizations. This was announced by Karen Tamazyan, the head of the Tax Administration Organization, Control and Monitoring Department of the State Revenue Committee (SRS), during a meeting with journalists.
According to Tamazyan, this group includes organizations that do not pursue any financial gain, such as ministries.
He also reported that the number of jobs in Armenia decreased in April 2020 from 620,000 to 547,000. “Despite this decline, the average monthly number of jobs was 609,000, compared to 602,000 in 2019,” assured the official.
