351 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Armenia, 5 Deaths Recorded

As of January 17 at 11:00 AM, a total of 164,586 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 152,772 have recovered and 2,992 have resulted in death. Currently, there are 8,093 patients receiving treatment for the coronavirus disease.

A total of 623,311 tests have been conducted overall. The Ministry of Health reports that 2,607 tests were done yesterday, resulting in 351 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. We have 157 recoveries and 5 recorded deaths.

On the previous day, 1 death was registered, where the patient had a coronavirus infection, but the death was caused by another illness. The total number of such cases stands at 729.
