Issues Hindering the Return of Prisoners in Azerbaijan Discussed in National Assembly
A working closed discussion on the topic of "Issues Related to the Return of Armenian Prisoners in Azerbaijan" has taken place in the National Assembly. According to the official website of the parliament, the discussion was organized by independent MPs Gor Gevorgyan and Sofia Hovsepyan.
“The meeting was attended by Armenia's Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan, representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Security Service, human rights defenders Artak Zeynalyan and Siranush Sahakyan, as well as MPs from the ‘Enlightened Armenia’ faction of the National Assembly. The meeting addressed issues hindering the return of prisoners, a number of proposals were voiced, and future actions were clarified. The effectiveness of joint work was emphasized,” the statement said.
